Little Moments, Big Magic!

Becoming a BIG:
There are magical moments that happen everyday.  A baby takes her first step.  A boy learns to spell his name.   A teenager discovers she is a great writer.  And you decide to become a BIG.  These Little moments are the start of a lifetime of excitement, fun, and learning.  Think back to your first ball game, or your first solo. What about the day you learned to tie your shoestrings.  Remember what it felt like to know that you could and would accomplish so much more.  Now, think about how much fun it would be to relive these magical moments with someone else.   Become a BIG and be a kid all over again.

Here's more about the programs:

Community-Based Program: You get to share activities with a child that you both enjoy!  That might include fishing, playing board games, baking cookies, or going to ball games.  You get to enjoy these fun times two to three times a month with your Little Brother or Little Sister, on your own schedule.

School-Based Program: You get to go back to elementary school and experience the hot lunches and little desks all over again!  You visit your Little Brother or Little Sister each week at their school.  And remember, it’s a chance for you to go to recess and act like a third grader again.

Mentoring Children of Promise: Volunteers are matched with children who have one or both parents incarcerated in a state or federal correctional facility.
